OUTPOST is a free, single-player, browser-based colony survival and strategy game where every resource matters and every survivor has a job to do.

Start with a small group of colonists in a living woodland environment. Gather supplies, construct buildings, establish farms, organize your workforce, and prepare for increasingly dangerous enemy raids.

 Features

• Build your colony: Construct houses, stockpiles, farms, workshops, cookhouses, clinics, barracks, walls, gates, and defensive towers.
• Manage your survivors: Organize workers, customize job priorities, and watch colonists automatically gather, haul, construct, and produce resources.
• Create a working economy: Collect wood, stone, and food, grow grain, cook meals, and craft useful tools.
• Defend your settlement: Build fortifications, recruit guards, fight raiders.
• Explore a detailed 2D world: Experience animated characters, varied vegetation, water, buildings, and environmental details.
• Manage the simulation: Pause, speed up time, adjust visual quality, and control animation settings.
• Save your progress: Save and load your colony, or export and import your worlds as JSON files for now.
• Activate audio: in the COLONY tab.

 How to play

1. Start a New World with your initial colonists.
2. Use Build & Orders to select structures and place them on the map.
3. Click on characters and buildings to inspect them and manage work.
4. Gather resources, establish food production, and build your defenses.
5. Prepare for enemy raids and expand your settlement.

Use R to rotate buildings, the speed buttons to control time, and Save / Load to preserve progress.

Development status

OUTPOST is actively being developed. The core game is playable, but some specialized animations, visuals, balance, and additional features are still being improved.
